What Chinese Mythical Creature are You?
You are Xuan Wu!
Mythological background: Because the turtle has a
thick, solid shell that serves as protection -
this animal is associated with stability. You
enjoy intellectual pursuits. Also, in Feng Shui (the Chinese myths behind
choosing a house), the black turtle's solidity
is used to protect from cold northern winds.

I want to be a Chinese Mythological creature, too!
How do you interpret this for your self? Does it fit? Is it something that is true in general or for the moment? Is this a side of yourself that you knew about or does this come as a surprise?
For some reason the link didna show. Try cuting and pasting this into your browser.

You asked: How do you interpret this for your self? The mythological turtle holds up the world. I see myself holding up a small part of it. Does it fit? So, yes it does fit. But one swammy once asked another, "What holds up the turtle?" Good question. *wan smile*
The turtle is like the crab of western astrology, both have shells that protect their soft innards, and seem prickly, grumpy and contentious on the outside, but are soft and tender, empathic, sympathetic on the inside. That I'm intellectual is no surprise, and that I tend to provide stability to small groups isn't either. Although, it seems I haven't had much success at the latter, lately. Oy! Many things are beyond my influence at the moment.
Is it something that is true in general or for the moment? Is this a side of yourself that you knew about or does this come as a surprise? It is true in general. Haven't you figured that out, yet? *wicked smile* Yes, I have known this about myself for a long, long time.
Let me know if the link works. I'd like to see what Chinese Mythological creature you are. Prolly a dragon, would be my bet. *smiles*
Namaste'
Hi ;),
I followed the link that you given, and it works.
Here is my result:
You are Gao Yao! The ancient Chinese god of judgment. On his quest for injustice he is accompanied by a ram. He is also known as Ting-jian.
Well, unfortunately there's not much explanation about this "creature". :(
