Nothing

Speaking of nothing, that is "nothing", the Buddhists have a different conception and thus understanding of "nothing" than we do. Nothing to us means "void". To the Buddhist, nothing contains pure potentiality. It is an empty page containing all the words in the universe. Not even words, but inchoate thoughts waiting to be forced into existence by an act of will.

When I have a problem that I can't solve, if I can step back from it and look at it a different way, it is not a problem. I have an innate fear of conflict. When I get into conflict, and I fight aggressively, I got a problem. I'm a little guy. I'm gonna die. I fear failure, so I procrastinate. Another problem. Not really a problem though. I have the chance to look at it a different way. Your feeling nothing can be a good thing. It’s a place of peace. Nothing's happening. No fear, no anger, no sadness--and this is a problem?! There's no joy or happiness or love either. But those feelings fade, even though they are good things. Thus, you have the chance to start from a fresh piece of paper. A blank movie screen to shine anything you want on it. Just notice the blank screen for what it is. Nothing. Now it’s anything you want it to be. It’s any feeling you want to have. All you have to do is take that first step, then another, then another, and before long you will be running again.

This is over intellectualizing it, but I can't get it across to you in any way but written words. I hope you understand them.

Lately you've been using the terms "intellectualize," "analyze," etc. quite a bit when talking about processes to minimize these activities. Perhaps to quit analyzing the process and allow it to work for you.

Thank you. *smiles* It was borrowed, and applied in my post.

The Kabbalists tend to put a personality into Ain. I wouldn't do that. The nagual, to me, is the other half of the world, it's pair being the tonal. Together, they make up Samhadhi, or Emptiness, or Nothing.

The West's only conceptualizations of Samhadhi is The Universe in its quantum form, and God. I prefer the quantum idea of it, myself, from a scientific point of view. Combine that as I do with Samhadhi, and you pretty much drop into quantum shamanism.

Per your suggestion, I've been doing a lot less thinking, and thus a lot less posting, and a lot more doing. It's working better. *smiles*
